Hampshire County Council is recruiting for a Social Worker (Mental Health) to join the dedicated Mental Health Team. You will be a qualified and experienced practitioner, committed to a strengths-based approach and delivering person-centred care within a collaborative team.

The role offers development via excellent practice validation and AMHP pathway support, with a market supplement for senior roles. You will work across Hampshire, travel to different sites as required, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker, SWE registered and eligible for this post.
• Experience applying a strengths-based approach to social care.
• Knowledge of social work legal frameworks and statutory duties.
• Commitment to demonstrating the service values and behaviours.

Responsabilités

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and available support.
• Managing a complex caseload while supervising Case Workers and Senior Case Workers and providing practice advice.
• Triaging urgent cases and safeguarding referrals, making informed decisions.
• Liaising with Health colleagues to facilitate hospital discharges.
• Holding forensic cases and working with the Ministry of Justice.
