Job Opportunity: Mental Health Social Worker

Archer Resourcing is seeking an experienced mental health social worker to join our team in Belfast.

The role involves supporting service users in a rehabilitation care home who have brain injuries and mental health illnesses. The position is initially for 3-6 months.

We provide various supportive pathways tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on their strengths, interests, and aspirations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily activities such as budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry, and medication management.
• Promote independence, choice, and dignity for each person we support, while encouraging creativity and fun.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service) – quick onboarding possible.
• At least 3 months’ experience in health and social care.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Traits: caring, reliable, trustworthy, flexible, empathetic, passionate.
