Job summary

Lifeways is recruiting Mental Health Support Workers for the Enhanced Community Recovery service in Scunthorpe. This full-time 37.5-hour role involves supporting people with mental health needs, promoting independence and aiding their recovery journey.

You'll work on a rota including early, late and sleep-in shifts, using IT systems, and building trusting relationships. NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.

Full-time 37.5-hour contract. Must be flexible to work early, late and sleep-in shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday.

About the role

We are seeking caring, honest and innovative individuals to join our dedicated team of Recovery Support Workers within our Enhanced Community Recovery supported living service in Scunthorpe. In this role, you will work closely with clients to promote independence, build confidence and support their ongoing recovery journey.

About you

• You must have previous experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• You understand the challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions and are committed to providing compassionate, recovery‑focused support.
• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You are confident using IT systems, including Word, databases and email.
• An NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage, but not essential.
