Job summary

Lifeways is seeking Mental Health Support Workers in Stainforth, Doncaster to help people transition from hospital settings to their own homes and communities. You will work closely with clients to promote independence and support their recovery journey, in a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Understanding of challenges faced by people with mental health conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using IT systems, including Word, databases and email.
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to promote independence and recovery.

• Work within the Enhanced Community Recovery service in Stainforth.

About the role

We are seeking caring, honest and innovative individuals to join our dedicated team of Recovery Support Workers within our Enhanced Community Recovery supported living service in Stainforth. In this role, you will work closely with clients to promote independence, build confidence and support their ongoing recovery journey.

Shift pattern

We will have early, late and sleep-in shifts available.

About you

• You must have previous experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• You understand the challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions and are committed to providing compassionate, recovery‑focused support.
• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You are confident using IT systems, including Word, databases and email.
• An NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage, but not essential
