Job Overview

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) who are looking for a Band 5 or 6 Mental Health Practitioner (RMN/ Social Worker/OT) to join them on a contract basis.

The successful applicant will be dynamic and forward‑thinking and will be passionate about working with service users with acute mental health concerns, providing a recovery‑focused approach.

Contract Details

This is a 3‑6 month contract with potential extension opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • In‑depth knowledge of mental health problems.
  • Knowledge around a variety of personality presentations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of issues that impact upon people with mental health problems.
  • Knowledge of medication prescribed for management of mental health issues.

This is a Full Time Monday to Friday position; however, Part Time applicants may be considered depending on experience.

Remuneration

Pay rate: £24.00 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Qualifications

The applicant must be qualified with the NMC to be considered for the position.
