Job description

Length of assignment: 3 Months

Hourly rate: £37

Remote/Office based: Hybrid — all therapeutic appointments will be face-to-face

Location: Walsall Council

The Role:

We are recruiting therapists to work within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

You will be responsible for delivering psychological and/or systemic interventions with parents and carers within Walsall, both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with adults with significant and complex needs, focusing on engaging with parents regarding their mental health and well-being while coordinating with the wider social care system involved with the family.
• Provide clinical assessments, formulation, and deliver time-limited, evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
• Identify the most appropriate mental health or psychological interventions for individuals and develop tailored interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills related to therapeutic models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

We seek candidates with relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialties, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Driving is essential for this role.
