Location: South Liverpool
Job Type: Full-time Part-time Flexible
Pay: From 90 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting children and young people? We're looking for dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across both primary and secondary schools in South Liverpool.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs and You'll play a key role in delivering targeted interventions, leading small group work, providing one-to-one support, and stepping in to lead classroom activities when needed.
Your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting pupils in mainstream classrooms or specialist settings

  • Leading learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff

  • Delivering tailored interventions and supporting behaviour plans

  • Contributing to EHCPs and progress monitoring

  • Building strong relationships with staff, pupils, and families


What we're looking for:


  • HLTA status or significant classroom support experience

  • Background in working with SEN pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 or KS4

  • Confident leading sessions independently or in small groups

  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
