Job description

Caritas Aspire Education works alongside refugees and asylum seekers to assist with their academic and career aspirations. In doing so, help people to rebuild their lives, integrate positively, and give back to their new community.

We need a qualified ESOL teacher who will plan, deliver, and evaluate a range of ESOL courses from pre-entry to level 2. You will fully support, assess, and progress learners in line with their aims and the requirements of the course.

The post holder must have a teaching qualification at Level 5, e.g., ESOL Level 1 and 2, PGCE, PTILLS, TESOL, BEd, or equivalent, and have an excellent command of the English language. You must be able to communicate effectively on a one-to-one basis and in group settings, plus have knowledge of online teaching platforms and IT systems.

The hours will usually be between 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.
