Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join our mental health services across sites in Nottingham and Mansfield. This Band 6-7 progression role offers structured support, mentoring, and development towards independent prescribing.

Responsibilities include clinical pharmacy care, medicines optimisation, MDT participation, and on-call and emergency duties. DBS and driving licence requirements apply, with a pro rata salary for part-time posts.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with eligibility to practice in the UK.
• Experience in mental health services is desirable.
• Independent prescribing training or practice is expected to develop in role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical pharmacy services and medicines optimisation across mental health settings.
• Support medicines optimisation and develop prescribing skills toward Band 7 under supervision.
• Be on-call for out-of-hours duties as part of the pharmacy on-call service.
