Job Description:

Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and skilled Band 6 Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker to join the CAMHS Team based in the Fylde Coast area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate with experience in CAMHS services and Children’s child protection work (face-to-face only).

Contract initially for 3 months with full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).

In this role, you will:

  • Complete assessments independently and support young people, with experience working with risk and adapting risk plans.
  • Signpost to appropriate services and make safeguarding referrals as needed; triaging/duty support for a team; and prioritising caseload and work.

Requirements

  • Hold a professional/recognised Degree qualification in Mental Health Nursing or Social Work with relevant professional registration.
  • Relevant UK experience working with young people with various wellbeing and mental health presentations; CAMHS/Child Protection settings.
  • Ability to complete care and hospital discharge plans.
  • Full UK Driver's License and access to a car.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
