Mental Health Nurse Role in Sheffield

If you are an experienced Mental Health Nurse dedicated to providing high-quality integrated health and social care for individuals facing mental health issues, this could be the role for you. The team in Sheffield is looking for a thoughtful individual to join them, ensuring all patients receive the care and support they need for recovery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Undertaking comprehensive assessments of clients within the community
  2. Liaising with members of the multidisciplinary team
  3. Assessing, planning, and managing treatments
  4. Planning, implementing, and evaluating clients' care plans
  5. Participating in risk assessments and risk management
  6. Keeping clinical records up-to-date in accordance with legislation and trust policies
  7. Participating in clinical supervision and maintaining compliance with Mandatory and Statutory Training

Requirements:

  • Degree relevant to NMC registration
  • Significant relevant clinical experience
  • Experience of taking responsibility for a ward or clinical unit
  • Experience supporting practice development in clinical areas
  • Enhanced DBS - on the update service (fast track possible)
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if not currently held
  • NMC registered
