We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Preston, a category B Prison located in Preston.
HMP Preston is a remand male prison for ages 18+ with a capacity of 680.
The mental health nurse will be based in the mental health inpatient unit within the healthcare department, with some expectations to work on the wing. The mental health team consists of a mental health clinical lead, 2 mental health nurses, and support workers.

This role is based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday, from 7:30 am - 8:30 pm, with 2 out of 4 weekends a month and a 6-week in advance / 2-week rolling rota.
Salary: This position is full-time, and you will receive an annual salary between £33,232 - £40,211 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
