Band 5/6 Mental Health Nurse Position in Blackburn

Archer Resourcing has an exciting new opportunity for a Band 5/6 Mental Health Nurse in Blackburn.

If you are a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse seeking to provide high-quality integrated health and social care for individuals with mental health issues, this role may be ideal for you. The Blackburn team is looking for a respectful individual committed to ensuring all patients receive the necessary care and support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in Duty rota
• Complete and maintain risk assessments and management plans
• Support with paired home visits, such as urgent referrals
• Keep clinical records up-to-date, complying with legislation and trust policies
• Attend clinical supervision and maintain compliance with Mandatory and Statutory Training
• Provide support, guidance, and supervision to junior staff and students

Requirements:

• Experience with research-based/reflective practice
• Degree relevant to NMC registration
• Significant relevant clinical experience
• Knowledge of clinical governance and audit processes
• Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the update service) for fast-tracked recruitment
• NMC registered
• Mandatory Training certificates
• Immunisations
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (advantageous)
