Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust's Connection service at St Ann's Hospital provides 24/7 open access mental health crisis support across Dorset. We are recruiting experienced registered professionals to carry out clinical assessments and coordinate urgent responses.

Roles include nurses, social workers or occupational therapists, with full or part-time hours and weekends/shifts. A recruitment premium of £3,000 is paid on start, plus a £1,500 retention premium each year subject

Qualifications

• Professionally registered nurse, social worker or occupational therapist.
• Experience in mental health crisis settings preferred.
• Willing to work across 24/7 shifts including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical assessments and brief interventions.
• Supervise mental health support workers and provide guidance.
• Advise agencies and emergency services; coordinate urgent and emergency responses.
• Liaise with internal and external services to ensure the right support for people in crisis.
