Job summary

OurCoop is seeking enthusiastic team members to help customers, members and communities. In a multi-skilled store role you will cover checkouts, shop floor, housekeeping, admin and potentially in-store bakery, with a focus on friendly service.

We welcome colleagues with flexible hours (including evenings and weekends). Prior experience is not required; pride in appearance, willingness to learn, and a can-do attitude are valued. We offer training, progression opportunities and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; must enjoy helping customers and be comfortable in a busy store environment.
• Willingness to learn and take pride in appearance and actions.
• Good communication and a friendly, helpful manner when talking to customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate checkouts and assist on the shop floor.
• Keep the store clean, well-presented and well-stocked (housekeeping, date code checks, temperature checks).
• Assist with administration tasks and, where applicable, support in-store bakery.
• Promote the benefits of membership to customers and explain how they can join.
