Job summary
Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) is seeking a proactive Member Development Manager in Chilton to shape the future of our member proposition. You’ll drive initiatives from concept to implementation, working with the Director of Membership & Marketing to create value for HTA members across the horticultural sector.
The role involves strategic thinking, project leadership and stakeholder engagement, with a hybrid office-based arrangement and regular UK travel.
Qualifications
- Experience working within the horticultural sector and understand industry structure and stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with ability to evaluate opportunities and ROI.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project leadership from concept to delivery.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and delivering compelling presentations.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand the HTA's member proposition.
- Lead member-focused programmes from concept through to successful delivery.
- Gather and analyse member, market and industry insight to inform decisions.
- Secure stakeholder buy-in and cross-functional support for new initiatives.
- Travel across the UK for member sites, industry locations and events as needed.
