Member Development Executive Department: Member Services Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in office) Contract: Permanent
PPL’s Member Services team manages the enquiries of our membership across both performer and recording rightsholder categories. Our Member Services team is passionate about music and works to help ensure all our members’ accounts are up to date so they are able to collect the royalties they are owed when their recorded music is played on radio, TV, online and in public.
As a key member of PPL’s Member Development team, you will play a central role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding Performers and Recording Rightsholders (RRHs) ensuring they benefit fully from the services PPL provides. This is a highly relationship driven role that blends industry knowledge, strategic outreach, and hands on engagement across the wider music community. You’ll work proactively to recruit emerging and high‑profile talent, build strong networks across the music industry, and represent PPL at events and showcases. You’ll also support the accurate registration of new members, maintain high‑quality data, and help drive initiatives that maximise member earnings.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes music, enjoys meeting people, and is passionate about connecting artists with the royalties they’re entitled to. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, outward‑facing role and enjoy shaping meaningful relationships, you’ll fit right in.
When you join us at PPL, you’ll become part of a community united by a love for music and a mission to make a difference, by championing music rights.
At PPL, we believe in fairness and in creating a work environment that respects all lived experiences. We are proud to represent musicians and performers from every section of society and are committed to cultivating a workplace where everyone feels welcome and happy in a safe and trusted space.
Established in 1934, PPL exists to help ensure that those who invest their time, talent and money to make recorded music are fairly paid for their work. By licensing businesses and broadcasters all across the UK, and collecting royalties arising from the use of recorded music overseas, we do the heavy lifting for our members. Doing that heavy lifting are over 200 employees with a shared passion for music, who work hard behind the lights and sounds of the music industry on behalf of the many thousands of performers and record companies PPL represents.
