Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to help define outcomes, develop measures and translate learning into action across services. You will work within the Impact and Insights Team to strengthen evidence use and drive service improvements.

The role blends research, evaluation and organisational learning, using qualitative and quantitative data to produce clear reports and facilitate learning sessions with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in research and/or evaluation.
• Experience with data collection, analysis and interpretation.
• Strong qualitative research skills; ability to speak about data.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver evaluations, research, and learning activities.
• Gather and analyse qualitative evidence; assist with quantitative analysis.
• Translate findings into practical recommendations and actions.
• Support MEL strategy implementation across services.
• Develop MEL plans with outcomes and indicators.
• Produce clear evaluation reports and summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Impact and Insights Team to synthesise data.
• Build team confidence in monitoring and learning.
• Ensure voices of service users and staff are reflected in evaluation and learning activity.
• Foster cross-team relationships across Jewish Care.
