Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a MEICA Project Engineer to oversee reactive and planned capital maintenance across water recycling, production, sewerage, and distribution sites. Based in the North division, you will manage projects valued up to £500k and coordinate with contractors and the supply chain.

You will ensure health and safety compliance, CDM 2015, and achievement of departmental targets while supporting budgeting and approvals. A safety-first, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Safety-first approach with negotiation and influencing skills.
• HNC in Engineering (Level 4) preferred.
• EngTech/IEng registration or progression toward it.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015.
• Valid driving licence.
• Supply, water production and distribution knowledge preferred.
• Mechanical or electrical experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Optioneering, tendering, spend forecasting, project delivery, commissioning, payments and closeouts.
• Work closely with contractors and supply chain.
• Ensure health and safety and statutory regulations are followed.
• Ensure department targets are met.
• Assist in budget establishment and approvals.
