Job summary

Kier Group in Hatherleigh, Devon, is seeking an Electrician to join our MEICA delivery team. The role involves electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding on clean water and wastewater assets, with reactive and planned project work across the South West.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 18th Edition and an ECS/JIB Gold Card, plus a full driving licence, and must be committed to health, safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ECS/JIB Gold Card or equivalent accreditation
Full driving licence
Committed to health, safety and environmental standards and able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding on clean water, wastewater treatment and pumping assets
Responding to reactive breakdowns with potential out-of-hours callouts
Completing electrical elements of planned maintenance and capital projects
Installing and testing motors, MCCs, control panels and instrumentation
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures
