Job summary

Kier Design in Salford is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the MEICA team, delivering complex infrastructure from concept to commissioning.

You will specify and design electrical and ICA installations, ensure compliance with water industry standards and company specs, and coordinate with civil, mechanical and process engineers to deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with membership of IET or IMechE.
• Experience in water, wastewater or process industries with hydraulic design and pumping systems.
• Knowledge of relevant Engineering Standards and SHE requirements.
• Proficient with Amtech cable design software and P&IDs/SLDs/loop diagrams.
• Able to pass BPSS checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and ICA installations from concept to commissioning.
• Specifiy, design, review and assure electrical systems and compliance.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and process engineers for integrated design.
• Produce technical specifications, control philosophies, and panel schedules.
• Conduct site visits and attend meetings on Kier's behalf.
