Job summary

Colloide Engineering Systems Ltd. is seeking an Electrical & ICA Technician to install, test, commission and fault-find electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems across projects.

Role involves working in project delivery teams, supporting MEICA systems in water and wastewater sectors, with UK travel and on-site work. Candidates should have an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, plus 18th Edition and MEICA experience.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical, instrumentation and control.
• HNC/NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 3 in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification.
• Experience installing, testing, commissioning and proving MEICA systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission electrical, instrumentation, control and automation installations.
• Work with project teams to deliver MEICA systems on water/wastewater projects.
• Carry out fault-finding, testing, rectification and recertification as required.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders during commissioning activities.
