Job summary

WGM Engineering, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Delivery Manager to join the Projects team in Glasgow on a permanent, full-time basis. You will lead a portfolio of MEICA projects across water and industrial infrastructure, guiding Project Managers and Engineers from enquiry through to handover while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will oversee budgets, coordinate with design, commercial, procurement and commissioning teams, and build strong client and supply-chain

Qualifications

• Experience leading medium to large engineering or construction projects.
• Background in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
• Experience guiding Project Managers, Engineers or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and change-management capabilities.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEICA project portfolio delivering safety, programme, cost, quality targets.
• Provide leadership on health, safety, wellbeing and environmental performance.
• Develop and coach Project Managers and Engineers.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts and margins; manage contract changes.
• Ensure programmes are resourced and address delays.
• Coordinate delivery across design, commercial, procurement and commissioning.
• Build relationships with clients and supply chain; act as senior contact.
• Provide portfolio reporting to the Projects Director.
• Promote off-site engineering and digital tools to improve efficiency.
• Contribute delivery expertise to enquiries and future opportunities.
