Job summary

BGEN Ltd is seeking a MEICA Project Engineer to support projects from design through commissioning across the southern region. You will develop designs, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and oversee on-site installation, testing and commissioning while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Strong drawing interpretation, regulatory knowledge and UK driving licence are essential as you help deliver next generation infrastructure solutions within water, utilities and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Control Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering MEICA projects in water, utilities, industrial or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and project docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering designs, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams on project delivery.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and industry standards.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built records.
• Identify lessons learned and best practice opportunities.
