M&E Team Leader Opening - Park Plaza Riverbank

We are committed to providing top-quality services to our employees. Our Meetings and Events Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring a great guest experience. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Meetings and Events Team Leader to join our team and contribute to creating an enjoyable dining experience for our staff.

As M&E Team Leader, your role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of Meetings and Events services.

You will ensure all F&B services are delivered promptly according to Event Orders, maintaining high standards and providing exceptional experiences for our guests. You will also oversee junior team members to meet client expectations.

Operational responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with standards, efficiency, and professionalism in the Meetings and Events Department
  • Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all clients
  • Coordinating service requirements with Floor Managers and other departments such as Sales, Planning, and Kitchen
  • Supporting logistics and bar teams as needed
  • Assigning duties to junior staff and agency assistants, including F&B service, BOH prep, meeting room setup, and cloakroom operation
  • Managing client interactions during events, addressing queries, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintaining personal training schedules and identifying growth opportunities
  • Proposing departmental improvements and innovations for better customer satisfaction
  • Taking a hands-on approach when on duty, training and assisting team members
  • Fulfilling reasonable requests from Operations and Floor Managers
