Are you passionate about people, events, and food? If yes, then this role is for you! We seek a bubbly, friendly candidate who enjoys customer-facing roles. Hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not essential. Essential qualities include a passion for hospitality, teamwork, and confident communication with customers.

Day in the life of:

You will support our meeting and events department in delivering excellent service during small to large-scale events, such as weddings, proms, birthdays, corporate award ceremonies, networking events, and conferences. Activities may include serving tables, working at the bar, taking food orders, setting up event rooms, or greeting guests. You may also assist other food and beverage departments like the restaurant, bar, and breakfast team. You will work from a shift rota, including daytime and evening shifts, weekends, and weekdays, with flexible availability considered.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up meeting and event spaces before occasions.
• Meet, greet, and seat guests.
• Provide table service, answer questions, and take/deliver food & beverage orders.
• Serve guests at the bar.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure successful events.
• Handle cash and card transactions using a till system.
• Upsell and cross-sell during service.
