Downend Health Group is seeking an enthusiastic Medicines Team Assistant to join our Medicines Management Team. The role is up to 37.5 hours per week and focuses on delivering a courteous prescription service to all patients, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will process medication requests and queries safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of customer care and communication while supporting clinical staff and upholding

Responsibilities

• Process medication requests and queries safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with Medicines Team Manager regarding organisation of work.
• Review and process repeat prescription requests following protocols.
• Develop knowledge of electronic prescribing services for the practice.
• Duties to support clinical prescribers in medication reviews and monitoring.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and information governance.
