Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Medical Writer 1 to support early-phase clinical trial documentation with a focus on safety and pharmacokinetics. The role is based in Leeds with a hybrid work model, offering training and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

You will learn to develop Protocols and CSRs for I–IIa studies, manage the document lifecycle, and coordinate with SMEs and sponsors to deliver clear, compliant documents while adapting to evolving client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PhD with strong scientific background.
• Experience or PhD with demonstrated data analysis and results reporting.
• Experience working across teams and interacting with clients or external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop simple design Protocols and CSRs for early-phase trials with minimal supervision.
• Project manage the document development cycle from start to final deliverable.
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather inputs and drive consensus.
• Lead meetings with clients and ensure alignment with sponsor goals and milestones.
