Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to join a global provider of mobile medical cabins. Based near Southampton, you will service, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in mobile units with full training and clear progression.

The role covers the South within a 4-hour radius of Southampton, with some nationwide work and an extensive overtime/on-call schedule. You must hold F-Gas and ideally NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration/AC or HVAC.

Qualifications

• Experience as Refrigeration or HVAC Engineer.
• F-Gas certification required or in scope.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair HVAC and Refrigeration Systems in mobile units.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Work days: Monday–Friday with substantial overtime; on-call rota with pay.
• Travel mainly in the South with potential nationwide assignments.
