Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is hiring a Refrigeration Service Engineer (Medical Equipment) in the Southampton area. The role offers £40,000–£50,000 basic, with OTE up to £70,000, plus training, progression, a company van, door-to-door pay, on-call duties and overtime.

You will service, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in mobile medical units, primarily in the South within a four-hour radius of Southampton, with some nationwide work and stays possible.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Certificate or NVQ LVL 2 in Refrigeration and AC or HVAC is required.
• Willingness to commute to sites nationwide.
• Commercial or medical refrigeration experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on site.
• On-call rota and substantial overtime opportunities, primarily in the South with nationwide work possible.
