The Selhurst Medical Practice isa small family friendly GP practice located in the heart of Selhurst, Croydon,with just over 5000 patients. We aim to deliver a high standard patientexperience through traditional GP values, putting our patients' needs at theheart of everything we do and getting to know our patients well whilst workingin a friendly team environment.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicatedindividual to be the welcoming face of our practice. As the first point ofcontact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive andefficient experience for everyone who visits or calls our surgery. You will manageappointments, patients records and assist with various administrative duties tosupport our clinical team in delivering excellent patient care.

You will work 30 hours per week:

Monday 07:45 - 14:00

Tuesday 07:45 - 14:00

Thursday 07:45 - 14:00

Friday 07:45 - 14:00

NOTE: Due to the needs of the business, we require flexibility to cover holidays and absences, therefore days and hours of work may change.

Job responsibilities

To be responsible forundertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and theprovision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can includebut are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration,booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) andassisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact forpatients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for theclinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and externalagencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
