Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm, with flexibility to work 8:00am - 4:30pm on a rotational basis once training is completed.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional colleague to join our supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis. We are a busy GP Practice with a list size of 8,600 patients. Our team includes 5 GP Partners, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Practice Nurses.

Our multi-disciplinary team also comprises NHS CTAC Nurses (2), a Health Care Support Worker, Community District Nurses, Community Pharmacists, a First Contact Physiotherapy Practitioner, a Midwife, a Dermatology Nurse, a Dietitian, and highly experienced administrative staff.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  1. Providing excellent telephone and face-to-face communication with patients
  2. Booking and managing appointments
  3. Signposting patients to appropriate healthcare services
  4. Handling electronic filing and other administrative tasks

This role requires strong computer skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
