Elsevier’s SSRN preprint server is expanding its medical preprints operation. You will manage medical submission queues, uphold research integrity, and ensure compliance with funder and editorial requirements.

You will contribute reporting, analytics, and projects to advance preprinting across life sciences, collaborating with editors, partners, and policy teams. You will help maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and ethics while supporting growth in medical preprints and diagnostic

Competenze

Background in life sciences or a similar discipline; editorial or publishing experience is valued.
Experience working on medical preprints or within scholarly publishing, with familiarity with reporting standards for medical papers.
Self-starter comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

Liaise with Content Editors to ensure smooth medical queues and meet turnaround times.
Prevent posting of medical preprints that may cause harm; ensure ethics, funding, and COIs are provided.
Collaborate with journal partners (e.g., Preprints with The Lancet) on policies, reporting and projects.
Coordinate with Policy and Partnerships Manager on funders' policies; report on Gates Foundation preprints and others.
Coordinate with the Research Integrity Manager on submissions posing reputational risk.
