THE POSITION:

Medical Communications, part of our integrated commercial services, plays a crucial role in building credibility and strengthening relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. This role involves call center staffing for responding to product information requests, adverse event and product quality issue intake, and medical writing.

This is a home-based, full-time position, ideally located in Poland, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany, or Spain. The candidate must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate documents between English and the target language, delivering responses via phone or written communication.
• Respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers.
• Disseminate drug information verbally or in writing.
• Identify adverse events and product complaints, perform intake, and generate initial reports in compliance with EVERSANA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Use writing skills for adverse event and complaint narratives, and respond to medical inquiries.
• Coordinate responses to quality-related complaints with relevant departments.
• Critically evaluate medical literature to develop information for dissemination.
• Participate in miscellaneous projects such as market research and system development.
• Perform medical writing tasks.
• Handle on-call responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

• Customer Service: Maintain and improve the Medical Communications Call Centre's service quality.
• Place of Work: Home Office or European Hub Office.
• Hours: Europe working hours (8am-6pm CET, Mon-Fri), with possible work on bank holidays (day off in lieu).
• Metrics: Contribute to process improvements impacting call center metrics.
• Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Degree in Life Sciences or healthcare-related field.
• Strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level) and native Spanish fluency.
• Strong translation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pharma D, MSc, or related degrees in Life Sciences or healthcare.
• Experience in call centers, medical information, pharmaceutical industry, or clinical settings, including medical writing.
• Fluent English and native Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical information systems.
• Positive attitude, strong communication, innovation, integrity, and patient-centered mindset.
