Job Description
Our client is a cutting-edge medical startup empowering radiologists and medical imaging specialists with its revolutionary Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution to detect medical conditions faster than ever before.
They are seeking their first Sales leader in the UK to establish and open the UK market by developing and implementing an effective sales strategy. This is a full-time, permanent, home-office based position anywhere in the UK.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience selling into NHS Trusts, CCGs, UK hospitals, healthcare networks, radiology services.
- Experience in radiology, PACS systems, imaging analytics, and relevant clinical knowledge.
- Existing strong network of decision-makers and executives within the provider, payor, and regulatory segments with imaging contacts.
- Ability to present, position, and strategize with prospective providers about AI concepts.
- Working knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement channels (e.g., G-Cloud, CCS Frameworks) and healthcare technology accreditation schemes (e.g., NICE Technology Appraisal).
- Experience with HM Treasury Five Case Model for developing Public Sector Business Cases (accreditation is an advantage).
- Strong experience with executing the full Business Development and sales cycle from initial presentation to deal closing.
- Excellent consultative sales skills, along with presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience in establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing regional sales quotas, projecting sales volume and profit.
- Self-starter, independent, and proactive in establishing a regional market and signing new business.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing sales and business development activities, including identifying providers, developing go-to-market strategies, and establishing the company's presence in the UK with a strong client base.
- Creating and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
- Managing the full Business Development and sales cycle from presentation to closing deals.
- Providing sales forecasts and developing quarterly and annual sales quotas for the region.
- Projecting sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, negotiating, and closing major contracts.
- Providing strategic input on navigating market regulations, payment systems, and regional clinical needs.
- Developing a regional market plan for AI solutions, including market penetration strategies.
- Managing regional P&L, budget, and goals.
- Collaborating with product teams for market feedback and support.
- Liaising with professional services to ensure excellent account support.
