Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Technical Publications Administrator in Abingdon to turn complex mechanical and electronic information into clear, compliant instructions for IFUs, service manuals and production procedures. You will publish documents within the QMS framework, coordinate reviews and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience producing technical documentation or procedures.
• Desktop-publishing capability including page layout and image manipulation.
• Ability to understand and communicate information about mechanical/electronic products.
• Strong organisation and communication, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise and improve IFUs, manuals, datasheets and work instructions.
• Gather and verify technical information with colleagues and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate reviews and approvals; manage updates through change control.
• Translate or format documentation for external printing and translations.
• Apply templates, styles and branding consistently across documents.
• Support routine Publications administration and procurement of supplies.
