NHS Jobs is seeking a Clinical Engineering Technician Specialist to repair and maintain medical devices, assess critical breakdowns and apply advanced fault-finding techniques. The role involves ensuring equipment compliance with manufacturer specifications and sharing learnings to reduce recurring faults.

You will lead audits, chair working parties on service standards and contribute to risk/incident logs.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and maintaining medical devices to maximise clinical use and compliance.
• Ability to diagnose faults using advanced techniques and interpret manufacturer specifications.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain medical devices to maximise clinical use and compliance.
• Assess critical equipment breakdowns and respond appropriately.
• Use advanced fault-finding techniques to diagnose problems within complex systems.
• Ensure repaired equipment meets manufacturers specifications before use.
• Lead audits and populate risk/incident logs as directed.
• Chair working parties to update service manuals, SOPs and procedures.
• Record detailed repair/PPM activity in Trust device databases.
• Act as ROTA TECH for Trust sites and be the first point of contact for Clinical Engineering.
