Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer for a world-class medical device supplier. You will contribute to the design and development of devices from concept through to market release, creating Parametric 3D models and supporting ECOs and change management.

The role offers on-the-job training, development opportunities, and a pathway to further growth as the company expands globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field with 1–2 years design experience in manufacturing.
• Experience as a design engineer in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• DFMEA / risk analysis experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop medical devices from concept to market release.
• Create parametrically editable 3D models of legacy products.
• Provide engineering input for ECOs and change requests.
• Communicate technical information clearly (verbal and written) with evidence.
• Carry out design updates as part of change management processes.
• Perform verification/validation of components and assemblies (ISIR as required).
• Document engineering information in the PLM system.
• Modify/add drawings per design standards and undertake other duties as required.
