Hunter Selection are supporting a world class medical device supplier in recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Wales. This role focuses on design and development of medical devices from concept through to market release, with on-the-job training and opportunities to develop skills in GDP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with DFMEA or risk analysis andUsability engineering files.
• Background in manufacturing and prior design engineering roles.
• Degree-qualified with 1–2 years design experience is ideal.

Responsabilités

• Product design and development of medical devices from concept to market release.
• Create parametrically editable 3D models of legacy products.
• Provide engineering requirements for ECOs.
• Communicate technical information clearly with engineering evidence (GDP).
• Carry out design updates as part of change management process.
• Verification and validation of components and assemblies (ISIR and testing).
• Record engineering information in the PLM system.
• Modify drawings per design standards.
• Perform any other duties as requested by manager.
