Job summary

AES in Cambridgeshire is seeking an Assembly Technician to support build and test of high-precision electro-mechanical assemblies in a cleanroom/lab environment.

You will assemble sub-systems, test and calibrate, follow SOPs and drawings, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate has HNC/HND or time-served with hands-on production experience, and strong reading of drawings with tooling skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow documentation accurately.
• Strong practical skills in mechanical and electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-precision electro-mechanical sub-systems in a cleanroom/lab-based environment.
• Test, calibrate, and commission integrated electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Follow SOPs, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
