Job summary

ASL Technical Ltd. is seeking an Assembly Technician with a strong background in mechanical assembly and electronics. You will work in a busy workshop, carrying out assembly, calibration checks and fault finding on components and assemblies.

You will handle wiring, cable preparation, termination, connectors, looms, and soldering/crimping tasks, using hand tools and recording work on PCs. A detail-oriented, team-focused candidate will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical assembly and electronics.
• Experience as production technician in a workshop environment.
• Practical soldering and crimping experience (through hole, wire-to-wire, basic SMD).
• Ability to read detailed drawings and record work on PCs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new builds and fault-find or repair returns.
• Check calibrations and ensure quality of assemblies.
• Use hand tools for drilling, tapping, and fitting components.
• Prepare wiring, termination of cables, connectors, and looms.
