Job summary

BILH in Exeter seeks a registered nurse to provide professional care within the assigned unit, coordinating care planning with interdisciplinary teams and reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director.

This role requires adherence to ANA standards, meticulous documentation, and strong clinical decision-making. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires; per diem roles are not eligible.

Qualifications

• RN license required in NH state or any compact state.
• BCLS certification or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred
• ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards, and nursing code of ethics.
• Ensures safe, timely, and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Documentation is accurate, timely, concise, and legible and adheres to policy.
• Integrates policies and national practice guidelines into patient care planning.
• Is an expert resource for content development of clinical practice and policy review or development.
• Precepts new employees and supports professional development of others.
• Delegates tasks based on licensure and experience, monitors utilization of staff.
• Performs physical assessments and collects comprehensive patient history at admission.
• Prioritizes patient care problems and makes clinical decisions independently or with the team.
• Communicates effectively during hand-off and plans care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluates outcomes and modifies the plan of care.
• Identifies patient education needs and develops materials and programs.
• Maintains ongoing professional growth and works across specialties.
