Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Mechatronics, based in Rotherham. The role focuses on coaching and assessing apprentices, supporting EPA readiness, and coordinating tripartite reviews with employers.

Candidates should hold Level 3+ vocational qualifications, Maths/English Level 2+, and a teaching qualification. A valid driving licence and ICT skills are preferred. 37 hours per week, with benefits and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3+ vocational qualification.
• Maths and English at Level 2 or above.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• ICT Level 2 or above preferred.
• Teaching qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support learners to evidence behaviours, knowledge and progress for each apprentice.
• Provide coaching to ensure timely EPA completion.
• Check learner progress with curriculum colleagues for tripartite reviews.
• Conduct regular tripartite reviews with apprentice and line manager.
• Support caseload with onsite visits and evidence creation for EPA.
• Document issues affecting learner progression to line manager.
• Set tasks and support for qualification readiness (functional skills, EPA).
• Support employers with responsibilities for on/off-job training.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance on e-portfolio usage.
• Deliver safeguarding training and promote a safe workplace.
