Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Yeovil is offering a permanent full-time Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprentice role. You will learn hands-on maintenance of plant and automated equipment while gaining formal engineering training.

You will develop knowledge of electrical, mechanical and control systems, fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance, with classroom lessons and workplace mentorship to become a skilled engineering professional.

Qualifications

• GCSE Mathematics and Science at minimum grade 4/C.
• Interest in engineering, manufacturing and technology.
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring safe, reliable operation of plant and equipment.
• Support production targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Gain experience in installation, testing, fault-finding and maintenance.
• Work with automated equipment and interpret technical information.
