Job summary

JCB invites applicants to its Mechatronics Apprenticeship, a demanding scheme that fuses mechanical and electrical engineering with robotics and product engineering. The programme runs for 44 months starting September 2027, combining block release training with work-based learning at JCB.

In the first two years, you’ll undertake training blocks and placements, then you’ll be based full-time at JCB for the remainder, completing a final practical assessment in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Four GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths, English and a relevant scientific/technical subject at C/4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Mechatronics apprenticeship involves block release training and work-based learning at JCB.
• First two years include training blocks and placements within a dedicated business unit.
