Job summary

Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer to join the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre in Coventry. You will deliver practical and theoretical training across Level 2, Level 3 and HNC programmes, aiming to help apprentices reach apprenticeship standards while developing their personal and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Industry-related qualification such as Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or equivalent.
• Strong engineering knowledge from industrial experience.
• Experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Assembly, Fluid Power or Mechatronic Systems.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training in Mechanical Maintenance and Assembly.
• Support apprenticeship and HNC learners to achieve programme outcomes.
• Create and develop engaging learning content, schemes of work and teaching resources.
• Manage training environments, equipment and learning resources effectively.
• Monitor learner progress and provide regular coaching and feedback.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Embed industry best practice and emerging technologies into training delivery.
• Support the development of learners' professional and employability skills.
