Job summary

The Manufacturing Technology Centre in Oxford seeks an Engineering Trainer to deliver practical and theoretical engineering training to cohorts of apprentices, covering mechanical and electrical subjects up to Level 4 and related qualifications. Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering qualification.
• Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to gain one.
• Recognised Assessor qualification or willingness to gain one (e.g., A1 or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical engineering training to apprentices.
• Manage learning resources and teaching spaces.
• Develop learning content, schemes of work and assessments.
• Support apprentice progression and workplace safety.
• Coordinate industry partner training offers into the apprenticeship scheme.
• Monitor and evaluate learning impact.
