Job description

Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment are partnering with a leading rotary aviation company in Oxford to fill the role of Mechanical Technician. In this position you will work under the supervision of Licensed Aircraft Engineers on some of the world's leading helicopters, ensuring safe and continuous operation of the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replace and install mechanical and electrical components in line with maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
  • Support licensed engineers and technicians in carrying out inspections and repairs (please note: this role does not include certifying work).
  • Collaborate closely with licensed engineers, fitters, and the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient aircraft maintenance operations.
Essential Requirements
  • Genuine enthusiasm for aviation.
  • Strong desire to learn, develop and adapt.
  • Good manual skills and ability to work methodically to technical instructions.
  • A strong safety-first mindset – the lives of passengers and crew depend on competent maintainers.
  • Qualifications: BTEC/NVQ Level 2 in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation safely, efficiently and effectively.
Desirable
  • Previous experience within the aviation sector.
