Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland in Edmonton, London, is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a full-time position with a monthly on-call rota. You will maintain HVAC, boilers and building services, diagnose faults, and support safe operations in a healthcare environment.

The role requires experience with mechanical building services, CPD in health and safety, and a pro-active approach to problem solving. A competitive package and ongoing development opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experienced as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
• Skilled in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, boilers and mechanical building services.
• Experience in Authorised Person and Competent Person duties.
• Knowledgeable in health and safety, risk assessments and method statements.
• Able to fault find and work accurately under pressure.
• Willing to participate in the on-call rota and attend relevant training.

Who are you?

• Experienced as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role

• Comfortable working independently and with colleagues, contractors and healthcare staff
• Relevant City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable
• Healthcare or critical infrastructure experience is desirable
• Physically able to work at height, in confined spaces and demanding environments
• Willing to participate in the on call rota and attend relevant training
