Monday to Friday, 40 or 45-hour contracts available.

This role is with a highly successful international manufacturer of materials handling equipment. You will benefit from excellent company benefits, including training on their product range.

The position is suitable for engineers from various backgrounds such as plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment. Automotive technicians or motor trade applicants are also encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills on vehicles or plant equipment.

You will join a highly skilled team within a reputable company. The role involves mechanical and electrical service and repair of used forklifts. Responsibilities include ordering spares and communicating progress to the Workshop Manager. The role is based at a client’s site, a large automated warehouse in Burton-on-Trent.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out service and repair work on used forklift trucks in the workshop and on-site.
• Order parts as needed.
• Monday to Friday schedule.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working on vehicles, HGVs, forklifts, cars, or plant machinery.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• IT literate.
